These presses work amazing for pressing apples or other fruits. They have a press plate, spindle, and handle that when fully raised can be tilted so you have unimpeded access to the press basket. This is a great feature if you plan on putting a fruit crusher directly on top of the press, or are dumping large quantities of fruit from a large container or fermenter to be pressed.

#20 – 8″x12″ basket: holds 11 liters (2.9 gal./53 lbs.)
#25 – 10″x15″ basket: holds 20 liters (5.3 gal./ 66 lbs.)
#25 stainless – 10″x15″ basket: holds 20 liters (5.3 gal./ 66 lbs.)
Great for smaller batches of fruit wine and cider. Due to their design, they are slightly less efficient than the ratchet style presses, but have the added bonus of the tilt-able yoke.
