As you may know, It’s looking like it might be an early wine season. It’s time to place those pre-orders as some varietals are almost gone. We have updated the 2013 grape list that we will be bringing into FH Steinbart including pricing. Here’s the list:
·Muscat (Willamette Valley $0.95 per lb.)
·Riesling (Columbia Valley, Tualatin Hills $1.39 per lb.)
·Pinot Gris (Oregon City $1.39 per lb.)
·Viognier (Columbia Valley $1.39 per lb.)
·Syrah (Columbia Valley $1.39 per lb.)
·Merlot (Columbia Valley $1.39 per lb.)
·Cabernet Sauvignon (Columbia Valley & Columbia Gorge $1.39 per lb.)
·Sangiovese (Umpqua Valley $1.39 per lb.)
·Mourvedre (Columbia Valley $1.39 per lb.)
·Pinot Noir (Umpqua Valley $1.39 per lb. & Yamhill Valley*)
Crushing and destemming (pressing for white grapes) can be done on site here. We also have presses and crusher/stemmers available for rent or purchase.
*Pinot Noir from the Yamhill Valley will be coming from a Certified Sustainable vineyard. The term “sustainability standards” refers to a voluntary, usually third party-assessed, norms and standards relating to environmental, social, ethical and food safety issues, adopted by companies to demonstrate the performance of their organizations or products in specific areas. Price is TBD.
